Poon hill trekking is one of the popular and easy one. Poon hill trek lies in the Annapurna Region. It provides one of the spectacular of majestic mountains such as an Annapurna (8,091m), (Dhaulagiri 8,127m), Annapurna South (7,219 m), Machhapuchre (6,993 m), Hinchuli, Annapurna III, Dhampus peak, Dhulagiri II, and many other tall peaks.

Detail Itinerary

Upon your arrival at Kathmandu, Tribhuvan International Airport, a representative from our company will greet you and wish you a warm welcome to Nepal before driving you to the hotel you've reserved. After the check-in process is complete, you can unwind and sleep at the hotel. Our guide will give you some briefing about the trek. The evening is free to enjoy Kathmandu at your own accord, you can get some rest and freshen up or familiarize yourself with some good restaurants, ATMs, money changers, and other vital places you might need during your stay.

After breakfast, our guide will receive you at your hotel for an interesting tour of the Swayambhunath Stupa, which is perched atop a hill and offers stunning views of Kathmandu, the valley's lush hills, and tall snow-capped mountains then you will be taken to Kathmandu Durbar Square which is also one of the major attraction in Kathmandu. After the sight seeing of Kathmandu Durbar Square in evening you will be taken to Pashupatinath temple and Bouddhanath Stupa for Sightseeing. All of above place are listed in the UNESCO world heritage sites.

Today you will be received by a driver and will be driving to Pokhara. Upon arrival we will be checking-in in the property reserved. After a short refreshment in the property you will have the rest of the day to yourself during which you can walk around Lakeside or enjoy the nightlife of Pokhara. You can also enjoy boating in Fewa lake (depending on weather).

In the morning, we drive to Nayapul. The bridge at Nayapul (meaning “new bridge” in Nepali) is adorned with prayer flags; our trek flags off from here. We start by crossing a stream and walk along the banks of Modi River all the way to Birethanti. Our TIMS cards get verified here, and we continue along the left trail that leads to Ghorepani. We arrive at Sudame and then hike gradually to reach Hile. A short trek further ahead brings us to Tikhedhunga, our stop for the night.

Today is one of the most difficult days of the walk. After breakfast, we begin our hike by crossing the Tikhedhunga and Bhurungdi rivers. A steep ascent and a never-ending sequence of stone steps lead to Ulleri. The climb provides us with breathtaking views of Annapurna South (7219m) and Hiunchuli (6441m). Three hours later, we arrive in Ulleri and continue our ascent through rhododendron and oak forests to Banthati. We arrive at Ghorepani after a gentle upward climb and level track lasting approximately an hour beyond Banthati. The picturesque landscapes are inviting and provide a nice break from tiredness.

The stunning early morning view from Poon Hill awaits us as we set out early for the hour-long uphill hike from Ghorepani. Poon Hill provides a breathtaking view of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. The sunrise over the Himalayas is truly stunning. We return to Ghorepani for breakfast before continuing on to Tadapani. We start walking the forested trail along the ridge, navigating through a sequence of descents and ascents until we reach the final climb from the Bhurungdi River to Tadapani. A lovely settlement with stunning views of Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, and Machhapuchchhre provides a pleasant tour before our overnight stay.

After breakfast in Tadapani, the trail continues to descend steeply until you get to Syauli Bazar through amazing hillside landscapes, forests, and terraced rice fields. Your trek will end at Nayapul where you'll be transferred to your hotel in Pokhara. Even from this urban environment, you'll be rewarded with magnificent views of the Himalayas including Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhre, the peaks of Annapurna, and others. Upon arrival in Pokhara, settle in your hotel and enjoy the afternoon and evening on your own. This relaxed lakeside town is the gateway to the Himalayas, so there are plenty of cool cafés, restaurants, funky shops, and yoga studios that cater to expats and adventure travelers.

The most significant day of your trip is today since you are traveling to Sarangkot, a significant vantage point for viewing the Himalayas. You will go to Sarangkot in the early morning to take in the breathtaking views of the Annapurna range, Machhepuchhre, Himchuli, Manaslu, and many others. Once you've spent a few hours in Sarangkot, you'll return to the hotel for breakfast. You will go sightseeing in and around Pokhara after a short break. You will proceed to the most well-known locations, such as Phewa Lake, Mahendra Cave, Davi's fall, Barahi Temple.

Today after having breakfast in the property, you will be driving back to Kathmandu. On your way to Kathmandu, you will be making a brief stop for lunch. Upon arrival at Kathmandu, you will be checked in to the property where you can get refreshed. If you like then you can go around Thamel and enjoy Thamel at your own accord. To cap off the journey you will be enjoying a lovely dinner with a cultural program.

After breakfast you'll be departing for your destination today with a bag full of trinkets and a mind full of priceless memories. Our representative will transfer you to the airport 2-3 hours prior to your international flight.
